New Features > Read-only File Setting
AccountEdge offers you an option to set your company file to Read-Only status.
If you want the added security of restricting access to add, edit, or delete any transactions in your company file or a copy of your company file, a new security preference, Mark this company file as Read-Only [System-wide] has been added to AccountEdge.
You will be able to view, analyze and export existing information. Reports and Forms can be customized and printed.
You can deselect this preference if you need to have complete access to the company file, for example, to replace an existing file.
