Set up a Web Store

Using the internet, you can create a web store and directly link to your company file using your software. This hosted Web Store service is an easy way to sell your product online. You can create, design, and maintain your online store directly from your software. You can also:

Design your online store by simply choosing a store template that best suits your business.

Create setup menus for easy navigation.

▪

Easily add your company logo.

▪

Sync your items and your customers.

▪

Process your online orders and payments.

▪

Apply gift cards to orders

▪

Manage passwords.

Before you can sync your web store to your company file you must first sign up for an account with Shopify and create a web store. Only one web store can be linked to your company file, at one time.

Once you have successsfully linked Shopify with AccountEdge you must install the AccountEdge App. This application that is the connector between AccountEdge and Shopify. You will access AccountEdge App from within your Shopify store.

You can now sync your Shopify web store with your AccountEdge company file. When changes are made in your web store, all changes will be updated in AccountEdge when syncing occurs. If changes were made in your company file, all changes will be updated in Shopify when syncing occurs. If changes were made in both AccountEdge and Shopify, the change will in AccountEdge will be what is synced.

To create a web store

Open your AccountEdge company file.

Go to the Setup menu and select Web Store. The Web Store Setup window appears.

Click the Learn More button to bring you to the selected host website to create a store.

To link your web store with AccountEdge

Go to the Setup menu and select Web Store. The Web Store Setup window appears.

Enter the Store Address for Shopify.

Click Link Web Store to link your Shopify account to your company file. The Authorize Shopify Store window appears.

Click the Install App button to complete the link.

Now that your web store is linked to your company file, the following options are now available to help you manage your web store.

Visit Web Store

Click to view your webstore exactly the way your customer will be viewing it. This is be most helpful when adding a product or editing the description of an existing product.

Configure Web Store

Clink to manage your web store preferences online. This will contect you to the administration Log in window for your web store.

Unlink Web Store

Click to unlink your web store from your company file if you have another store you want to link to the same company file or if you have closed your web store.

note : If you have a web store through Enstore

If you already have an account with Enstore and you choose to unlink your web store from AccountEdge you will not be able to link AccountEdge to your web store again.

View Shopify Logs

Each time your sales and payments from your web store are synced with your company file a log is created. Click this button to view the Shopify Logs folder located in your documents folder.

Continue the set up process by going through each tab in the Web Store Set up window. Once you have made the selection in each tab, close the window. Your set up process is complete and you can now sync your sales and payments from your web store to your company file.
