Go to the File menu, choose AccountantLink, and then Export to AccountantLink. The Export File window appears.

If you want to export journal entries in addition to company information and accounts, select the Include Journal Entries in Export File option. (Keep in mind, however, that exporting journal entries may take some time, and may create a very large export file.)

From the Dated to end of list, choose the most recent month you want to include in the file. All journal entries from the first day of the fiscal year through the last day of the month you selected will be included in the text file.

When you’re ready to create the AccountantLink export file, click Export. The Save As window appears.

Before you begin the import process, you should obtain from your accountant the import file containing the general journal entries that you want to import. You should also make a backup of your company file.

Go to the File menu, choose AccountantLink, and then Import from AccountantLink. The Open window appears.

Locate the import file that your accountant sent you and click Open. The import process begins immediately.
