When you download bank or credit card statements and reconcile amounts against transactions in your company file, there may be transactions that are not automatically matched. When this happens, the
Unmatched Statement Transactions window appears.
This field displays the number of transactions in the downloaded statement file that matched with an unreconciled transaction in your company file. The number displayed here will increment upon the recording of an Add Transaction or completion of a Match Transaction.
Click Add Transaction to open the Spend Money window or the Receive Money window. The information in the Date, Amount and Check or ID # fields automatically transfers to the corresponding field in the window. The account defaults to the account you are reconciling.
Click Match Transaction to open the Match Transaction window, where you can select a transaction from the list of uncleared transactions and match it to the unmatched statement transaction.
