The numbers assigned to each of the sales, or the purchase order numbers that the customer has given to you. The numbers that appear depend upon whether you’ve chosen the Show Customer Purchase Number in Receive Payments option in the Sales view of the Preferences window.
■ Open: Sales with an outstanding balance.
■ Closed: Sales that have been paid in full. Closed sales will only appear if you have selected the Include Closed Sales option.
■ Order: Sales, for which you have not sent an invoice yet.Enter early-payment discounts (if applicable) only if you’re settling the entire remaining balance of the sale using the credit.The amount owing for each sale in the list after subtracting the amount in the Discount column from the amount in the Amount column.The difference between the Credit Amount field and the Total Applied field. You cannot record this transaction unless this amount is zero.Click to open the Exchange Rate window. This window displays your current currency, the Transaction Exchange Rate and the Current Exchange Rate. This button appears only if you selected the I Deal in Multiple Currencies option in the System view of the Preferences window.
