Company Data Auditor—Company File Overview

The Company Data Auditor performs a high level check of the data contained in your company file.

The Overview section verifies the basic information about your company file, including:

■	File Name The company file name as stored and when the company file was created.

■	Release Version The country of release, software version and release number in which the company file is used.

■	Application Location The location of the software you are currently using. Click the magnifying glass next to this field to open a Finder window to this location.

■	File Location The location of the company file you are currently using. Click the magnifying glass next to this field to open a Finder window to this location.

■	Size The size of the company file in Megabytes.

■	Last Backup Date The date the company file was last backed up.

If you want to back up your file before proceeding, click Back Up to open the Company File Backup window.

■	Last Verified Date The date the company file was last verified.

If you want to verify the company file before proceeding, click Verify.

■	Current Fiscal Year End The last month in your current fiscal year.

■	Locked Period The period in which, and prior to which, no transactions can be entered.

If you want to change the lock periods, click Lock Period to open the Security view of the Preferences window, where you can make or change the lock period selection.

■	Payroll Tax Tables Date The date of the tax table that has been installed. This field is inactive if you have not initialized your payroll feature.

If you want to load your tax tables now, click Load Tax Tables and follow the on-screen instructions to install current payroll tax information into your payroll system, or to update outdated payroll tax information with new tax tables provided by Acclivity.
