The Set Up T4, RL-1, and T4 Summary window enables you to establish the amounts for selected boxes you’ll include in the T4 and RL-1 forms you print. It also enables you to enter information such as your contact person and establishment number on the T4 Summary.
Field Descriptions
The list in the left side of the window shows selected boxes on T4 forms that contain wage and deduction information that must be supplied by employers. If your company uses any of the boxes listed on the left, you can select a box name in this list and then choose wage and deduction categories listed on the right that should appear in the box on the T4 form. All other boxes on the T4 form are automatically included on the T4 form by AccountEdge.
The list on the right side of the window enables you to select the wages and deductions whose amounts should be used in the box you selected in the list of T4 boxes in the left side of the window. All other boxes on the T4 form are automatically included on the T4 form by AccountEdge.
To select a wage or deduction, click in the Select column next to the name of the wage or deduction. A mark will appear, indicating the wage or deduction is selected. If you want to remove a mark, click the mark.
