The Banking command centre enables you to complete all the main tasks related to spending and receiving money. This includes recording Spend Money and Receive Money transactions, printing cheques, reconciling your accounts, printing receipts and preparing bank deposits.
As with any command centre, you can also click To Do List to display business tasks that affect your company on a regular basis, click
Find Transactions to view summary information about transactions, click
Reports to print or view reports, and click
Analysis to analyze aspects of your business.
Click to open the Bank Register window, where you can enter cheques, deposits, payments to vendors, payments from customers, and sales and purchases. You can also view a transaction history for any of your bank accounts for a selected date range and access the transaction source windows.
Click to open the Spend Money window, where you record payment transactions that are not related to purchases, for example, insurance payments or equipment rental. You can also use the
Spend Money window to set up recurring Spend Money transactions such as monthly rent or car payments.
Click to print the cheques you’ve recorded in the Spend Money,
Settle Returns & Credits and
Pay Bills windows, as well as paycheques created using the Process Payroll Assistant. From this window, you can customize and format the printed cheques to suit your business needs.
Click to print or email Payment Notifications to advise vendors that you have made a payment.
Click to open the Reconcile Accounts window, where you can check that the balances of the accounts in your company file match the balances on your bank statements. You can also verify whether balances of credit cards and loans are correct.
Click to open the Receive Money window, where you can record the receipt of money that is not payment for a sale, for example, bank interest or adjustments.
Click to open the Review Receipts Before Printing window, where you can print payment receipts for customers.
Click to open the Prepare Bank Deposit window, where you can record deposits of grouped undeposited funds into your chequing accounts.
Click to open the Transaction Journal window, where you can view information about all transactions you’ve entered in your company file, for all journals. You can also search for a transaction and view it in the original transaction window.
Click to open the To Do List window, where you can view a list of tasks that need to be performed regularly, such as recording recurring transactions. You can also use the To Do List to automatically perform tasks, such as creating a purchase when an item’s quantity becomes low.
The To Do List window automatically displays tasks related to the current command centre. If you want to display a different type of task, click and hold down the mouse button and select the required task from the list that appears.
Click to open the
Find Transactions window, where you can view summary information about accounts, invoices, bills, cards, items, payroll and jobs. You can click a zoom arrow in this window to display the original transaction details.
The Find Transactions window automatically displays the transaction type related to the current command centre. If you want to display a different type of transaction, click and hold down the mouse button and select the required transaction type from the list that appears.
Click to open the Index to Reports window, where you can prepare, print and customize your reports or export them to Microsoft Excel using the OfficeLink feature.

Click to open windows that allow you to analyze the key aspects of your business. For example, you can analyze sales and profitability trends, estimate short-term cash needs, see who owes you money and chart your progress on jobs. Many Analyze windows display your company's information in table or graph form.
When you click Analysis, a window appears displaying an analysis of information related to the current command centre. If you want to display a different type of analysis, click and hold down the mouse button and select the required analysis from the list that appears.
Click the task button on the bottom right of the command centre or press SHIFT+COMMAND+T to display the Task Drawer list. You can add windows you use frequently to this list. Any window that can be opened from the command centre or from a menu can be added to the Task Drawer list.
