Tax Code Information window—Import Duty Tax Type viewThis view of the Tax Code Information window enables you to set up tax codes for import duty relating to goods that are brought into the United States.Import duty tax codes are assigned to line items on purchase orders, but the tax amount won't appear on the purchase orders, since the import duty is payable to the government, and not to the vendor. Instead, the import duty will be tracked using the linked account you specify in this window. You can make a payment to the government based on the balance of your linked account.
