Business Services Setup window

The Business Services Setup window allows you to enter setup information for Business Services.

Business Services allows you to process credit card payments from customers directly from your software.

You can access the Business Services Setup window from the Setup menu. Select Credit Card Processing then Set Up Credit Card Processing. To go to the Payments Gateway, choose Visit Payments Gateway from the Setup > Credit Card Processing submenu.

Field Descriptions

I Use Business Services for

Credit Card processing of customer payments.

Select this option if you will use this service to approve credit card payment and deposit them directly to your company’s specified bank account. If you select this option, you will also have two preferences available:

Select the Send Credit Card Payments for Authorisation Using the Record Button option if you want the Record button in the transaction window to authorize as well as record the transaction, in the Enter Sales (New Order or New Invoice), Receive Payments, Receive Money and Settle Returns & Credits windows.

Note that you should select this preference only if the Pay with Card field has a previously used card selected. With this preference selected, when you click Record, the transaction is automatically processed.

If you want to use the Swipe Card Entry Method, do not mark this option.

Select the Make Reminder Log Entries for Credit Card Payments option if you want to record a log entry each time you authorize a credit card payment using the Merchant Account. Note that a log entry will be created only when you receive an authorization—Authorization Code and Trace ID—automatically over the Internet. If you manually authorize, by phone, for example, no log entry is made.

Enter your user name in this field.

Enter your password in this field.

API Login

Enter your API Login in this field.

Secure Transaction Key

Enter your Secure Transaction Key in this field.

Cancel

Click to close this window without saving your changes.

OK

Click to accept the entries you have made and close this window.
