Combine Accounts window

The Combine Accounts window allows you to combine two accounts. You identify the primary of the two accounts, bring all the secondary account’s transactions into the primary’s history, and delete the secondary account.

caution :  

This action cannot be reversed; if you remove the wrong account, you will need to restore your most recent backup and re-enter any transactions.

You can combine two accounts only if:

■	Both accounts are Detail accounts.

■	Both accounts are the same account type.

■	The primary account is not an inactive account.

■	The secondary account is not a linked account.

■	Both accounts use the local currency.

Field Descriptions

Secondary - Remove all transactions from

Click the search icon to select the account you want to delete the transactions from and move to the Primary account.

Primary - Move all transactions to

Click the search icon to select the account to which you want to move all the Secondary account’s transactions. This is the account that will be retained; the Secondary account will be deleted when you click Combine Accounts.

Cancel

Click to close this window without saving changes.
