Entering CVV2 codes-- Cardholder Verification Value 2

The CVV2 is a unique three-digit code on the credit card. The card validation number is printed in the signature area on the back of Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards. American Express shows the number above and to the right of the card number on the front of the card.

This service will verify that the code is correct.

A purchaser who has only the normal credit card number, may not have the credit card in his/her possession, indicating a potentially fraudulent transaction.

To comply with MasterCard and Visa regulations and for security reasons, MYOB AccountEdge does not save this number. You must enter it for each transaction.
