To use a downloaded statement
The Reconcile Accounts window or the Bank Register window should be displayed.
Note: Do not use the `Send Credit Card Payments for Authorization Using the Record Button' preference if you use the Get Statement feature
- In the Account field, enter the account for which you want to get a statement.
- Click the Get Statement button. Using the dialog box, locate the statement file you downloaded from the Internet.
- Highlight the file and click Open.
- The Get Statement Log will appear. This alert will tell you the number of transactions in the statement file, the number of transactions read by FirstEdge, and if any transactions have been skipped. Click OK.
- The Unmatched Transactions window opens. If no transactions appear in the list, click Done.
If a transaction appears in the list manually match the transaction or record a new transaction:
