Inventory

To add a new item -- all types


 

The Items List window should be displayed.

  1. You can create many types of item records. (Creating items)
    Identify the type of record you need and follow the corresponding procedure:


  1. Inventoried items only: If the item you're adding has a quantity or value before you start to enter purchases of the item using AccountEdge, continue with this step. Otherwise, skip to step 3.


  1. Enter historical information about the item -- optional. (To enter historical information about an item)


  2. Enter a description of the item -- optional. (To enter a description of an item)


  3. Display a picture of the item -- optional. [To display a picture (or change the picture displayed)]


  4. Enter pricing level information for the item -- optional. (To enter pricing level information for an item)


  5. Move items to multiple locations -- optional for inventoried items. (To move inventoried items)
