To add a new item -- all types
The Items List window should be displayed.
- You can create many types of item records. (Creating items)
Identify the type of record you need and follow the corresponding procedure:
- Inventoried items only: If the item you're adding has a quantity or value before you start to enter purchases of the item using AccountEdge, continue with this step. Otherwise, skip to step 3.
- Enter historical information about the item -- optional. (To enter historical information about an item)
- Enter a description of the item -- optional. (To enter a description of an item)
- Display a picture of the item -- optional. [To display a picture (or change the picture displayed)]
- Enter pricing level information for the item -- optional. (To enter pricing level information for an item)
- Move items to multiple locations -- optional for inventoried items. (To move inventoried items)
