With AccountEdge 2012 you will be able to set a security setting to restrict a user from having access to the billing rates, from having the ability to select billing levels, and from having the ability to make time and rate adjustments on the activity slips.

Select Preferences from the Setup menu. The Preference window appears.

Click the Security tab and select the User IDs button in the bottom left corner of the window. The User Access window appears.

Select the User ID required and in the Available Functions column select Detail View under Time Billing/View Activity Log and View and Edit Slip Rate and Amounts under Time Billing/Enter Activity Slip.

Click OK to close.
