If you used a password in MYOB software previous to Accounting Plus v13
In MYOB software previous to Accounting Plus v13, an optional password system was available to restrict access to your company file. To set up the system, a Master password had to be created first; this password had full access to the MYOB software. Sub-passwords could then be created to restrict users' access. Any User ID could be entered, but the password that was used to open the file provided security by restricting access.
Using Premier Accounting Version 14, the User ID provides access to the company file and can be used to restrict access to certain parts of the company file. A password is still optional for use with user IDs. The Administrator User ID is similar to the Master password; it authorizes only the Administrator to create other user IDs.
