Data Verification Utility
The Accounting Plus Data Verification Utility can help you to identify a damaged data file before you spend a significant amount of time making entries in it. The Data Verification Utility can be displayed by choosing Verify Data File from the File menu while you're working within Accounting Plus. We suggest that you use the Data Verification Utility often.
Remember, neither the Data Verification Utility nor the Data Optimization Wizard guarantees that your data file will not fail. Additionally, neither of these tools is guaranteed to repair a failed data file. The only real defense you have against data damage is to keep both current and archived backup copies of your data.
