Which accounts can be selected for the Deposit to Account or Pay from Account fields

When you enter transactions in the Spend Money, Receive Money or Receive Payments windows, the first field in the upper left of the window is the Deposit to Account field or the Pay from Account field.

In order for an account to be listed in the Deposit to Account or Pay from Account drop-down list, the account must be a Bank (Asset) or Credit Card (Liability) account type; these account types are available for detail accounts only. (Header and Detail accounts)

Only accounts with those account types will appear in the drop-down list when you're choosing an account to pay from or deposit to in the Spend Money, Receive Money or Receive Payments windows.

If the account you want to use isn't listed, change the Account Type selection for the account. (To change an account's basic information)
