Payroll tax forms

Your software provides all the features necessary to prepare and print certified copies of the T4, RL-1, T4 Summary forms and electronically file the T4 and Record of Employment (ROE) forms.

The payroll forms that you prepare to be printed - such as T4 and RL-1 forms - can be distributed to your employees. You can also customize these forms, if needed.

Although you can customize these forms using your software, forms that don’t match governmental guidelines won’t be accepted. You should use the standard form layout unless advised otherwise by your accountant or an authorized government representative.

A Record of Employment (ROE) has to be filed whenever an employee either leaves his position of employment or has experienced an interuption of employment. A Record of Employment file can easily be generated and uploaded to the ROE website. A pdf copy of this file can also be printed for record keeping purposes, if needed.
