Switching between your computer and the Web

There may be times when you want to switch from the Learning Center on your computer to the Web-based version, or back again - for example, if you lose your Internet connection, or if you can't find the information you want on your computer and you want to check our updated version on the Web. To do so:

1. Choose Preferences from the Setup menu that appears at the top of the window in MYOB BusinessBasics.
2. The System tab should be selected. If it isn't, click on it to select it.
3. Depending upon where you wish to view help, mark or unmark the option titled "I Prefer to Use Help From the Internet, Rather Than My Computer."
4. Click OK.

If your web browser is open, the information in the browser will be refreshed, and help for the currently active window will be displayed, from the location (your computer or the Internet) that you selected in step 3. If your browser is closed, the change will take effect the next time you display the Learning Center using BusinessBasics.

You can switch between the two help locations whenever you like. Keep in mind, though, that you must have a connection to the Internet if you wish to access the Web-based version of the Learning Center.
