How the unit of measure for items is displayed
The unit of measure is displayed on the Count Inventory Sheet report and the Count Inventory window. The unit of measure that is displayed is based on the unit of measure that you chose for the Number of Items per Buying/Selling Unit fields when you set up the item using the Buying Details and Selling Details views of the Item Information window. (Entering buying and selling units of measure)
- If the Number of Items per Selling Unit and the Number of Items per Buying Unit are both 1, MYOB prints the unit chosen for the Buying Unit of Measure
- If either (but not both) of the Number of Items per Selling Unit and the Number of Items per Buying Unit is 1, MYOB prints the unit chosen for that item.
- If neither the Number of Items per Selling Unit and the Number of Items per Buying Unit is 1, MYOB doesn't print any unit of measure.
- If you only sell and inventory an item, and if the Number of Items per Selling Unit is more than one, the unit of measure won't print.
- If you only buy and inventory an item, and if the Number of Items per Buying Unit is more than one, the unit of measure won't print.
