Changes made in the Pay Employee window do not update the Timesheet

If you used timesheets to create the Pay Employee transaction you want to change, be aware that any changes you make won't be reflected in any timesheets. Also be aware that payroll reports based on timesheet records won't include these changes so may have inaccurate information.
