If you see Delete in the Edit menu but you want to reverse a transaction

The choice to Delete a transaction appears in the Edit menu when your transactions are changeable. If you want to reverse a transaction, you must first make your transactions unchangeable. (Choosing changeable or unchangeable transactions)

Then, if you want, you can return to your original preference -- changeable transactions -- after the transaction is reversed.
