To enter line items using item names, not numbers

 

You can enter sales and purchases using your items' names instead of their numbers if you like. To do this, you must change an option in the Windows view of the Preferences window.

  1. From the Setup menu, choose Preferences. In the Preferences window, click the Windows tab.


  2. Mark the option titled Select Items By Item Name, Not Item Number.


  3. Click OK.
