To enter transactions using account names

 

You can enter transactions using your accounts' names instead of their numbers if you like. To do this, you must change an option in the Windows view of the Preferences window.

  1. From the Setup menu, choose Preferences. In the Preferences window, click the Windows tab.


  2. Mark the option titled Select and Display Account Name, Not Account Number.


  3. Click OK.
