Email Defaults window



Sales tab

Click this tab to enter the subject and message you want to appear on all of the sales forms you email -- invoices, quotes and orders.

Purchases tab

Click this tab to enter the subject and message you want to appear on all of the purchase forms you email -- bills, quotes and orders.

Statements tab

Click this tab to enter the subject and message you want to appear on all of the statements you email.

Subject

Enter the text that you want to appear as the default in the Subject field of all of the emails you send.

For sales and purchases, you can enter a separate subject for invoices/bills, quotes and orders. You can also choose to include the sale/purchase number by marking the Include ___ # in the Subject field that appears next to the Subject field. (See Include ___ # in Subject field information.)

The default Subject can be changed for individual forms, if you want, in the Review Forms Before Delivery window for the type of form you're emailing.

Include ___ # in Subject field

Mark this selection if you want to include the number of the transaction in the Subject field of the email.

This selection is available for Sales and Purchases only.

Message

Enter the text that you want to appear as the default in the Message field of all of the emails you send.

For sales and purchases, you can enter a separate message for invoices/bills, quotes and orders.

The default Message can be changed for individual forms, if you want, in the Review Forms Before Delivery window for the type of form you're emailing.

OK button

Click the OK button to accept the entries in the window and close the window.

Cancel button

Click this button to close this window without saving any changes you made.
