Important networking information for Mac OS X users

MYOB AccountEdge Version 3 allows Mac OS X users to work with AccountEdge company files in a multi-user environment. It is essential to note, however, that OS X networking is subject to some important restrictions. These restrictions vary, depending on which operating systems are in use on the networked users' computers, and on the "host" computer where your AccountEdge company file is located. To avoid possible irreparable damage to their AccountEdge company files, all networked users are urged to read and understand the limitations that apply to their specific network configurations.

Warning: Windows users

Cross-platform networking with AccountEdge and MYOB Plus is only available to users running Windows NT 4, 2000 and XP. MYOB AccountEdge does not support cross-platform networking with either Windows 98 or Me. Using Windows 98 or Me while sharing a company data file with Mac users can permanently currupt the company file.
