The Deduction Exemptions window allows you to select the taxes that aren’t calculated until after this deduction is made from employee paychecks. The current deduction, selected in the Payroll Category List window or created in the Deduction Information window, is displayed at the top of the window.
It’s important that you make your selections in this window carefully. Many typical deductions aren’t made before taxes are calculated, so we recommend that you double-check your deductions before you make entries in this window.
