There are two ways to start the New Data File Assistant.

• To start the New Data File Assistant if MYOB AccountEdge isn’t already running, start AccountEdge, then choose CREATE New File in the Welcome window.


• To start the New Data File Assistant when AccountEdge is already running, choose New from the File menu at the top of your computer screen. Depending upon the preferences you’ve chosen for the data file you’re working with, you might be asked whether you want to back up the data file. As soon as you answer this question, the New Data File Assistant will appear.
