Setup

To set up Multicurrency


  1. One time only: Select the Multicurrency option: Select the I Deal in Multiple Currencies option in the System view of the Preferences window. (Setup > Preferences > System)


  2. Create records for the currencies you'll use. (To create records for the currencies you'll use)


  3. Assign your accounts to foreign currencies [To link an account (foreign currency)]


  4. Assign the appropriate currency to foreign customers, vendors and salespeople. (To assign the appropriate currency to foreign customers, vendors and salespeople)


  5. After you've started to record multicurrency transactions: Record unrealized gains and losses. (To record unrealized gains and losses)
